Sapana Thapa is an experienced advocate for gender equality and social justice with over 8 years of dedicated work. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Sciences,  is committed to achieving efficient and timely outcomes while adhering to feminist principles.

Currently serving as a Program Officer at LOOM Nepal, She focuses on integrating concepts of sexuality and feminism into institutional practices. This role involves coordinating with community organizations in both urban and semi-urban areas, promoting sustainability within institutions, facilitating the transition of feminist leadership, and developing strategic initiatives. Additionally, she works to foster youth partnerships and encourage entrepreneurial efforts.

Sapana’s extensive experience includes leading campaigns against gender-based violence, harmful traditions, and human trafficking, demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing social justice and equality.
